The four patients in the private hospice were all taken to safety. The poor dog was later rescued by volunteers Elena Kalinina and Alexander Tsinkevich. This delay gave enough time for the fire to sustain the soon-to-be-mom with severe burns.

A fertility specialist too examined Matilda, carefully studying her for a long time to determine the state of her puppies. Although it’s very difficult to determine the number of pups Matilda is carrying, the shelter confirmed that all puppies are alive and developing well. Unfortunately, after giving birth, Matilda will be unable to feed her pups due to her injuries.
