Leading star of the “Black Panther” movie, Chadwick Boseman passed away on Friday (28) at his home after a four-year-long battle with colon cancer. The rep of Boseman had confirmed the actor’s passing at the age of forty-three years old to Variety.
In a statement posted on the actor’s Twitter feed, it was mentioned that it was indeed an honor for the actor’s life to give life to Black Panther, King T’Challa. The reaction to the sudden loss of Boseman was swift and heartfelt. The Chief Creative Officer of Marvel and President of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige mentioned in a statement that Chadwick’s passing is absolutely devastating. Feige went on to say that every time that Chadwick was on set he would exhibit charisma and joy. Nobody was amazing at bringing the great men to life as he did.

Fans around the deeply mourn and grieve the loss of a great human and a very much talented actor with his family who had reportedly stood by each second beside him at the time of his passing. Many actors, actresses, co-stars, and top officials expressed their condolences to Boseman’s family on social media platforms.
While Chadwick gave life to the role of the strong Wakanda leader he also presented the image of a thoughtful and powerful Black leader of a blooming African nation. He was a superhero to strive to race into a battle that was worth fighting for no matter the odds.
